Job Description
Some of your responsibilities will include:
€¢ To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
€¢ The candidate applying must be competent working with children who have special educational needs on a daily basis
€¢ To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in the nursery
€¢ To work in partnership with the parents
€¢ To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
€¢ To work closely alongside SENCO co-ordinators
€¢ Must be able to commit to long term assignments
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
€¢ Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent – Desirable but not essential
€¢ Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent - Desirable but not essential
€¢ SENCO trained- Desirable but not essential
€¢ Must have experience working with children who have special educational needs.
